Presenting the highly creative and innovative work of MA Fashion Design and MA Textile Design programmes entitled, TURN UP THE TARTAN. A kaleidoscope of creativity, diversity and cultural exploration. This catwalk presentation showcases students’ boundary-pushing journey through the exciting intersection of traditional Scottish and African heritage, working in collaboration with Professor Jonathan Faiers and renowned international fashion designer and stylist, Samson Soboye. Classic Tartan patterns collide with African print traditions, resulting in exciting, contemporary and cutting-edge designs.
